Leigh Centurions & Swinton Lions
Announce Challenge Cup Double Header
Leigh Centurions and Swinton Lions have joined forces to present the Rugby League community with a Rugby League Extravaganza on Saturday 6th April.
Both teams were drawn at home in the third round of the Tetley's Challenge Cup and will showcase for the first time at Leigh Sports Village a double header event, for a single all day price of £18 for Adults, £10 for Concessions, and £1 for Juniors.
Swinton will entertain Toulouse Olympique with a 3pm and Leigh will take on East Leeds with a 5:30pm kick off.
Both clubs will be working together to produce a really special day for all our fans and casual spectators. Tickets are on sale now at www.leighcenturions.com! |

That the offical annoucement though with the prices on, 18 quid for both games, however how much is it if you only want to watch our game? Or is that not an option?

18 quid is a lot to ask for a potential massacre against an amateur team on a busy day of sport on the box , if memory serves it was only 7 quid for Leigh East v Hunslet t'other year .

It is only 'great value' if you wish to watch both games.If you only want to watch one, as the majority will, it is poor value and it is another own goal by the people allegedly in charge of the club.

As i said Reffy , Good value , as i will be watching BOTH games and hopefully a few quid on Colbert Station each way in the National . |

£18 and £10 concessions. Is that standing also? I would only be interested in watching the Leigh match but in all honesty it's a tad expensive for me.
I hope however people think it's attractive enough with it being a double header and the club's involved make money out of it. I hope they would also offer deals in terms of secondary spend at the kiosks as it's a long time to spend inside the stadium.
I'm not sure many of our fans would want to watch both and then £18 is expensive against an amateur club.
I will though applaud the club for attempting something new and that it proves to be financial success.
