Wellens seems confused that Lomax would get 3 matches, but the man he pole-axed is out for 4 matches. I think Wellens needs a HIA and GoB needs to be careful with all the HIA's he has received in the last 2 years.

He’s also claiming that it was a clash of heads. Not surprising that someone that doesn’t know his from his elbow can’t tell the difference between Lomax’s shoulder and head

Not our best performance but a win in difficult circumstances at a vital point in our season. Well done lads.
Difficult, with Moylan, O’Brien and Amone sitting out. Just that quality of player missing is problematic.
Difficult as our spine is missing two of the 5, and O’Brien is the usual replacement for Moylan in attack.
Difficult as a quick turn around and prepping for that, knowing we have another come Tuesday.

Lockie has been said by some, especially on social media, to be less impactful this season, but take into account his 6 has rarely been the same week to week, and the spine has never been the same twice it seems all season, he has been in my eyes, the reason we are still in the hunt at all. Yeh, we were clunky and when we bombed two great chances, I thought it’s not going to be our night. To be fair to the boys they dug in and got the result. Tuesday was the day I was hoping we can go and beat Wigan, but with O’Brien, Amone and possibly Moylan missing, it now becomes very much harder.

Is concussion protocol not 10 days still or does Amone's need to be longer because he didn't come off?

Given the lineup and positional changes I thought we went ok on a hot night.

In Lammy's post match interview, he said O'Brien, and Amone will miss Tuesday's game, and Moylan will be given upto just before kick off.

The protocol is 12 days, so both Amone and O'Brien miss the Wigan game. Given O'Brien was apparently ill in hospital, I think we may be missing him for more than the Wigan game. It's also his second concussion in a fairly short space of time, after a head knock at Catalans.

Excellent games by Ipape, Lam and Mulhern. Some decent defensive efforts across the line, but great try savers from Lam on Hoy but also Hanley and McIntosh on Mellor.

I was impressed by Brogan when he came on as well. Probably the longest he's had on the pitch for us, and had some strong carries and decent defence.

The attack was a bit off in the main, but without Moylan or O'Brien, with McNamara also missing, that was almost inevitable.

Getting more impressed with Halton every week , Trout also looking good . The whole defensive effort was great .
