| We beat Leeds and then those below us could all potentially lose.
Time to look forward now not over our shoulder.
Aim for top 6 now.

| Great win, Vanners, especially off a short turnaround. Titfer off to TipsterSte though Bongser has to say that Leeds (though nilled) had the better of the second half - God's eye may be on the sparrow (or spuggy as we used to call it) but this eye was on the clock.
10 points from 10 games and 7th place. Which Leyther (barring Adrian Lam) would not have taken that at the start of the season? Answers on a postcard, please.

| Is it me or does this victory feel different than the others, spent all week thinking we don't need to look over our shoulders any more to actually thinking top 6 is more than possible, a huge effort effort from our middles tonight ( did amone do 70 mins ) thought mullern was outstanding in the first 35 mins or so

| Massive well done to the Leythers. I thought this game could go either way before kick off, especially with the short turn around. A great start from us then great defence. It’s a pity we have a break now as we where on a roll and CAS up next after another loss against a poor display from KR. Let’s bank those points and start again. Onwards and upwards.

| Hard earned win. First time against Leeds since start of Super League. Blew them away in first half could have easily been 22 - 0. Great defence in second to withstand pressure. Bit puzzled on the lack of subs first half, Mulhern and Amone were amazing, Charnley continues his great form and best performance from Ipape so far this season. Great team performance.

| Great weekend of scores for us. Only a Salford win was a score I didn’t want to see but well done to them.
Wakey and Udders lose today so we are 7th after round 10.

Bladdersveldt did the biz for you- though Bongser is not chuffed about FC picking up points. He is still looking over his shoulder as a long sufferer rather than "counting your eggs."

After many, many years of trials and tribulations (54 and counting), I’m always cautious too, but this time just feels different. Lam senior set his sights on the team hitting the straps by weeks 8-10, and we seem right on target. I now fancy 3-4 wins from our next 5, with a weeks rest for our small but very fit and dedicated squad.
I just don’t see us in a relegation fight from where we are now in the table and what we are doing on the field.
Time to start counting chickens Bongser.

| I'm with you VL - we are not going down.
If anything we should have had points out of the 2 Salford games - we were close in the first but battered them in the second of those games and came away with nothing.
Having been to the game at Wakefield last week I can say that I have not seen a poorer SL team than Wakefield were in that game - they were abject. Yes, its only a third of the season gone, yes, they are only a couple of wins behind Castleford - and i cannot wait to see how bad that team is either - but I cannot see how they (Wakey) can rescue their season and stay up. More to the point - having watched the soul searching that goes on on their own club forum, their fans already know that the game is up and are already resigned to their team going down.
So far this season, and I was at both games, the only two teams in the division that looked a notch or two better than us and who had us hanging on to avoid a battering were Warrington and Wigan. I suspect that by the end of the season Saints will probably be back in that elite grouping. For me, every other team is fair game and I can see us realistically taking points off everyone else.
Our position at the moment is not the high water mark of our season. I can see us finishing in glorious mid-table mediocrity - and that for me will do nicely. Consolidation in the division this season and next season with hopefully a number of new signings made of the right class of player and we can kick-on and go higher still.
This season is not about relegation.

| Most of squad are signed for next season, apart from about five or six. Apparently they are Reynolds, Nisbet, Smith, O’Donnell, Ava can’t remember the other, but out of them Kai is the major one that needs resigning.

I think Ben Nakubuwai is the other one
