He remarkably quick off the line, has great top speed and can really get up under a high/wide kick to get the ball and score. Also good high in defence and a solid all round in defence.

I never sawWayne McDonald play either till he signed for Leeds , but I knew he was a good signing , and at 6ft 7ins I knew he was a big lad .Nene is 6ft 4 ,a big lad and has played over 90 first grade NRL games ,making him a GOOD SIGNING . |

There is video pre and post on YouTube. He looks very fit and fast in 2021 video. And before you ask, I have also watched him play “live” several times over the years as we get 3-4 live NRL games per week on Canadian sports channels. |
