Derek has called into radio Manchester and called all those fans applauding the Toulouse team and calling for Jukes's head, despicable, which is probably aimed at almost all the North Stand, conveniently forgetting the appalling home form this season and the end of last plus a purge of all the Leigh born players.

Think the chants were uncalled for... The applause could be deemed good sportsmanship.

He likes the north stand when the're patting him on the back but he has to realise he has to take the rough with the smooth,dont get me wrong im not saying the booing or clapping the opposition during the game as right but i think that sort of frustration and anger has been coming the way the lads have been performing and I don't buy all this it's a new team and will take time to gel,I can agree with the attack that will need time to gel but tackling is tackling no matter wether it's a new team or not and that's been poor

Personally, I would never boo anyone, our team or the opposition. I feel it is 'unsporting'. But we (in the West Stand )were also applauding the Toulouse team, for the way they overcame severe adversity, to win the most unlikely victory. And they did it by playing entertaining rugby. I feel that is 'sporting'. (We were also applauding Leigh, when we were playing well, earlier in the game.)

I can't remember who it was, but who, at the Club, was lavishing praise on Catalans, when they beat us in the MPG, and publicly said he didn't want them to be relegated? I sure as heck wanted them to be relegated, because it meant we would stay up, and I can't believe he didn't feel the same way, about 'his' club!

The applause was sarcastic,as to inform some,thats how we should be playing. The chants from the younger generation made the decision easier the day after. Not sure what the complaint is here. Jukesy doesn't have one. Why create another.

Aye that's how I see it, not just about Sunday - 4 games in and going backwards

This last week it’s been unpredictable saying get some batteries then offering a fan out then calling all the north stand but to be honest that’s normal behaviour for him

Despicable, is an amusing term to use I'm a West Stander and didn't chant or boo on Sunday, I am however so glad Jukes has gone, it could save our season.
As for Derek?He has been great for the Club, but he must realise the Fans are the lifeblood of the Club, a few years ago when Abram was Coach, I once told him at a LISA meeting in 10 years time when you have gone, as Coach, I will still be a Leigh fan, I still am,and always will be no matter who Owns, the Club, or Coaches the Club, I will still be a Leigh fan.
All fans have opinions and are entitled to express their feelings,if some folk don't like it, hard lines.

'Despicable' is a little bit OTT.......to say the least.

As Derek is bankrolling the club, you could argue he can do and say whatever he wants, when he wants.
