Bold changes by the coach, and kept in some players that some have been asking to be dropped, but those players came up trumps (Higson, Paterson for sure).
All in all it's time for us to say a big well done to one and all.

It was a very polished and disciplined performance played with great composure.

I have said it before and I will say it again. These qualifiers are high intesity 7 cup finals in a pressure cooker environment. You need a playing personnell of a certain calibre and temperement to show the key attributes on display today to win these games,

Some of our supporters, especially on here need to recognise these skill sets are crucial.

As they have done on more than one occasion this season - that type of performance is always within us, consistency being the issue. Or alternatively we have planned for the 8s, last week being a blip

We was due a good performance let's hope we can gather momentum and secure SL up for next year

High completion rate. Great discipline. ( I think one penalty all game. ) I was worried when I saw the team, but best team performance all year. Hopefully carry on for rest of qualifers.

Not far off being the perfect match from Leigh.

I have only seen Leigh on tv this season and would say, from what I've seen and heard, that this might just be their best overall peformance by far.

From a neutrals point of view it was a boring match, Catalan are a poor side at the moment, there's clearly some unrest in the camp, Leigh performed better than last week, but faced a worst side imo, thought Reynolds had a decent game, the Aussies were in and out, think the Leigh who won promotion were a better side than this season! You've got a chance against Wire, their score line flattered them! I think Leigh will be safe as other teams are slightly worse...good luck for the rest of the middles...

The Leigh that played so well against Wire, Wigan, Hull, Catalan, Huddersfield would have beat our promotion team comfortably. We have been close in 90% of games played this season and could have actually made the top 8. I'll take 4 'boring' wins to finish the season.

I like to write the occasional letter to the Rugby Press when I feel its warranted and, Garry Schofield's assessment of our season certainly deserves a response!
Garry was a very good player however, as a Coach he was like a lot of former players, USELESS!!
Schofield has said,(like you) that the team of 2016 would have performed better He criticises the signing of Glen Stewart although at the time we signed Glen, Schofield heralded his capture as a 'coup'
I think there are 11 former Leigh players at Toronto and at least 8 of them regularly play. in their qualifiers they have lost at York and drawn at Keighley does that kind of performance compare to the victories we have achieved this season without those stalwarts?
