The Leigh squad for 2017 is looking very impressive, not sure if Gaz will get a look in if Jamie Acton gets his act together.

I reckon all the forwards will get 'a look in'. This is going to be a very physically, and mentally, demanding season, so I reckon they'll all have a big part to play.

Give me Gaz Hock every time.

Can't believe anyone would even consider Acton over Gaz Hock. Acton is a championship player with potential if he gets his head right. A season out on loan with a competitive Championship side should be his chance to prove that he deserves a contract for 2018.

Looking impressive it what way? Have you seen them play yet? Pecking order leaves some players with points to prove,we have very little depth in squad.All will play a part.

the seasons not started yet and people are on about players going out on season long loans,the step up to SL is massive and I think player rotation will be vital to keep us in with any chance of survival in SL.At times last season even month long loans of players left us shorthanded at times

Hock is a seasoned SL player and seemingly enjoying his spell at Leigh which has improved his discipline, Acton is an inconsistent Championship player due to his indiscipline, only a fool would prefer him to Hock.

I totally agree Reffy, I spoke to Hock last season, he said how much he loved it at Leigh, and how playing for Leigh has given him a new outlook on the game,for me he was great last year, and I'm looking for more of the same this year.As for Acton?I really hope he settles down stops the messing around,and concentrates on playing rugby.

Acton needs to keep his head during a game, spent half of last season banned. And when on the pitch, spent most of his time wooing the female fans with his shorts pulling up shenanigans

Acton will be our best forward in 2017.
