| Just listened to his Sky interview. I'm sorry but the guy is a deluded clown.
"We didn't break the Salary Cap but OK we did break operational rules............."
1 instance of an illegal payment from another company....er that's cash that should be included on the SC, 2 instances of benefits to 2 players........er there is a cash equivalent Marwan which is included on the SC under RFL rules.
SO YOU BROKE THE FECKING CAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now he is going to take it further, the legal profession must love him pi55ing his money at them on lost causes.

| Marwan boasted at LSV last Sunday that he had the evidence or 'lost email' as proof and this would lead to a reinstatement of 6 points. No Marwan admits to breaking the roles... what a prat.

| There would be a few parties interested should Marwan kiss it goodbye.Ground location isn't ideal, but I've never bought into fans not going because of that reason.Absolute tripe of an excuse.

Imagine if the LSV was built about 5 or 6 miles away from the centre of Leigh on a Godforsaken piece of wasteland with at least a 2 bus journey, one of which is not very regular at night.
Glazebury, Haydock Island ?
I think it would be much less attractive to Leigh fans if it wasn't a 10 minute walk from the Spinning Jenny.
Maybe the new road through will benefit Salford, but when will it ever be finished ?
Will there even be a bus service on that road & how regular will it be ?
I have the feeling that they are up against it a bit there at the AJ Bell & MK *regardless of his many faults* didn't put them there.

Big place Salford, maybe it should have been built in Swinton.

Ste , I think you may find Marwan DID want the AJ Bell where it currently is , because he had plans to develop it putting shops, a Hotel, and a Casino on there, and his other reason was he had plans to build a Racecourse as well, but I don't think the plans were approved.

| I grew up within a mile of the AJ Bell stadium - big football area and no Rugby played in our schools. That said Irlam Hornets and Eccles rugby league clubs both within a couple of miles from the club.
Salford in their pomp - days of David Watkins, Keith Fielding et al, never commanded massive crowds - similar to Swinton who had to sell their best players.
Coupled with its awkward location - doomed as far as good crowds are concerned.

| We have shown on a few occasions including this year that we can attract for us a fairly decent crowd. For the Widnes game this year at home the attendance was just over 5,000.This was after both clubs had very good wins so the crowds were attracted by the good rugby we were playing. They stayed around the 4.500 mark for the next few games even after some difficult loses and we did take a fair amount to Cas. Then the salary cap charges came then later the points deduction and with that came the big decrease in crowds which can only be blamed on the DR. A few years back before all the problems with him came to light we had some great attendances in 2014 at around 7,000 for a few. But these were well marketed which seems to have become very poor since the Doc became the CEO. I understand the DR saved us but so far he's seems to lurch from one disaster to another and keeps the club in a constant negative media spell. So if he does go to Leigh then good luck to him. But i can't see it working out with him and Beaumount together.
