The Watcher thinks that there is a total lack of professionalism & class oozing from the club at the moment. Some of the players are showing complete disrespect to the name of Leigh RLFC & are taking the urine out of us supporters with their bad attitude to training & lifestyle choices. At the very top, if Beaumont thinks he is doing a good job of running the club then he is more deluded than the people of North Korea. Micky Higham, a consummate professional, must be wondering what the hell is has let himself in for & probably wishes he had a contract like Brierley. Is the press officer on his hols? Come on Mr Neil Barker I thought you were supposed to be the best in the business, your silence is deafening, or have you been gagged as someone else does your job as well.
On the Plus side Rowley senior has left, lets hope he doesnt sue us again.

The Maurice feels the watcher is happy again at last, but feels the watcher will be absent again come October and the hard work has paid off.

The Watcher would like to assure Maurice that he doesn't get enthused by turmoil, however the Watcher does agree with Mo that the club is indeed in some turmoil. The watcher is a little sad because of what has happened at our beloved club over the last month or 2, from last seasons highs & togetherness we seem to have plummeted to a level where players want to leave ASAP, the coach has upped sticks & just walked away, some of the playing staff don't appear to want to train & others are happy fighting in the street & breaking club rules on alcohol consumption. Dispite all this The Watcher will still be supporting the club right to the end of the season no matter what.

I believe all season ticket holders have received an email today outlining the current events that asks us not to repeat its contents, I thought it was a very well constructed document.

The Watcher does have a life, it is one he enjoys & Leigh RLFC is a big part of that enjoyment, when that enjoyment is affected The Watcher likes to know why. Why has one of our best players & brightest youngsters just handed I his notice, why has the coach resigned on the eve of the season, why are current players fraternising with the past coach who is openly trying to poach some of them away from our club & why can the club not put an end to all the stories regarding Chase & his health issues?

This would be because as an employee Rangi Chase has the right to confidentiality with regards to his health. How would you feel if your employer disclosed any health issues you may have to the general public? Just because you occasionally pay to watch him do his job, it doesn't mean you are entitled to the private details surrounding his medical health and well-being.

But the club can say whether he is absent with leave, or without leave.

And an imaginary one.
