Well Hunselt was all well and good but Fev will be a different matter on Sunday, they're a good team and (other than last week) look to be on a good run of form. The mid week game shouldn't matter too much, looking at the 1st team players that were rested and the size and quality of squad we have to rotate it shouldn't be a problem.

Hopefully with a new coach and after having success playing rugby against Bradford Fev will come and try to play against us rather than niggling, elbowing, punching and gouging they tried in Blackpool. I'm fairly confident we'll beat them either way but one's a lot more entertaining to watch. You could argue we should try to ignore it like we did against Sheffield, but we don't want to risk one of our key players being carried off to hospital (again) perhaps for something more serious than just a precaution especially as we're getting to the business end of the season now.

I think we will see a fired up Leigh team on Sunday. But one that will ignore the niggle and do their talking in the tackle and in offence. I think that this team has turned a corner now and is akin to a boxer who had a good first few rounds then took some pago in the middle rounds, but has got his second wind and absolutely batters their opponent in the closing stages. I think that we are going to see the best from this side in the coming weeks.

Sunday really isn't the day to try younger fringe players, win the hard games on Sunday & the week after and top spot is ours & we can look to maybe rest players & try young ones for the other 2 games. The 19 man squad looks as strong as it can be so should be good.

Can't see beyond a win for you chaps today. The Bradford game aside, we really are poor and do not have to discipline to avoid getting sucked into Leigh's usual game plan.

lol, except that it never happened. Beswick and Rowley both told the disciplinary that there was no gouge, but they chose to back Wheelbarrow up.
