After all the negatives surrounding our club - and certain individuals in particular - I thought I'd post a positive thread about our players that I am proud of, personally.

Olly Wilkes, Tommy Goulden, FuiFui Moimoi, Bob Beswick and Andrew Dixon.

All hard as nails and get on with the job in hand. You can see the measure of these men in their eyes. Ruthless. Brutal. Fearless.

There are more that have great discipline, obviously, like Pownall, Brierley, Hopkins, Spencer etc etc - and I am also proud they're at Leigh too.

But Wilkes, Goulden, Moimoi, Bob and Dicko are the proper hard men of Leigh Centurions. In short, you can count on them.

Probably down to being more experienced Ant.

And that's why certain players still need to "learn"

But of course, I agree. Experience is a key reason these men know how to go about their business.

Put McNally in with those I've never seen a player take so many cheap shots and carry on the game the terrible one against Salford was shocking but in the same game he took another and in my eyes was MOM

McNally does take some stick, I agree. But he's fearless when tackling at FB, so all credit to him.

But he's also bit of a moaner for me. He doesn't just get on with it. He's almost petulant at times.

His attitude reminds me too much of a footballer. Then again, he is a Man Utd fan, so...

Bob Beswick is the man,what he says goes.

Charlie Pausey was one hell of a tough nut on the field. An absolute Gentleman off it.
