| First 40 Leigh defended very well but played some dumb rugby esp on the final play .Second 40 wow playing downhill they played some outstanding RL one try by Armstrong put Diver Tom Daley to shame when he went flying through the air to score a brilliant try in the left corner Riddy was outstanding and once they got the link going it was breathtaking at times the forwards where magnificent Fui made several telling runs Acton was brutal at times in the tackle and chopped quiet a few of the Fev lads down in full flight..Great result and what's really frightening its this team is gonna get a lot better and I mean a lot...

| Leigh were the best side in the first half but threw out a few wayward offloads.
Downhill in the second half but Leigh were outstanding with fast attractive and impressive RL.
All of the team played well imo. Bout 1000 Leythers there.
I cannot see a weak link in this Leigh side.

| After a pretty even first half Leigh, playing down the slope, with the wind at their backs, cut loose to score 36 unanswered second half points. It looked like Fev gave it their all, in that first half and then had no answer to our second half power and pace.
Moimoi was awesome today, as were all our forwards. Ridyard and Brierley ran the second half show, behind a dominant pack and, as usual, Armstrong and Kay were lethal finishers. For me, the best try was a superb team effort, finished by Platt, who I thought had an excellent game. It's going to be a difficult choice for the centre positions soon! Whilst Worthington has excelled defensively, Platt seems to offer that bit more class, on attack and does his fair share of defensive work.
The returning Tommy Goulden displaced Dixon, to 18th man and he had his usual excellent full 80 minutes.
Well done to the team and coaching staff on an incredible opening five matches - although there are plenty of stern tests to come.
A good following from Leigh in an otherwise disappointing crowd of just 2000+ (which is presumably to be believed, given that it wasn't a 'shared' gate! )

| Fev play swinging the ball from side to side so that also gives them a good, quick sliding defence out wide, stoped us playing our usual game very well. Playing up hill our defence kept it tight 1st half, 2nd half with big, strong & quick players all over the feild playing downhill we took them apart, fantastic 2nd half. I felt a bit sorry for Dixon, thoight he'd had 2 good games whilst Goulden had 2 poor ones (by his standard) before getting banned, but he had an excellent game today.

| I though the pass and line that Tommy Goulden ran for his try was sublime and left Fev looking at shadows. I thought Penky played very well today and made the difference when he was on the field.

| Fev had the Lion's share of possession in the first half for me it was no surprise they had a half time lead ,totally different in the second half,Kay and Armstrong MUST be the most lethal partnership in the Championship, our forwards again were immense, especially Fui Fui,but for me Brierley was our MoM, his distribution is second to none and runs the line very well, took his try well and now shows he is more than just a Master try poacher, you won't punch us out of the Top 2 this season ,even at this early stage ,well done Leythers ,it will only get better better on drier grounds.

| The first half laid the platform and the second half was excellent and ruthless. Yet again we witnessed some very special tries.
The scary thing is that we can get better. When we turn it on for the full 80 - a team sometime soon will get a serous beating - come to think of it, they dished out a serious beating today. Let's not forget the bookies gave Fev only 12 points and most of us would have all taken any kind of win before kick off.
I like Andrew Dixon and his time will definitely come but I am Tommy Goulden's biggest fan and he didn't disappoint on his return today.
Fui's contribution improves every week - awesome - he literally frightens defences. He takes out four defenders nearly every tackle, a quick play the ball and the backs have open barn doors to run through. He backed himself to win the second year of his contract and he is doing just that. For any of us who had any doubts, he has already clearly shown that he has come to play - he is a top man.
The backs were great again - we look capable of scoring from anywhere - a nightmare for opposition coaches. However, as we all know, backs can only perform off the back of a good pack. Kurt Haggerty just does a great job every week and Jamie Action was a bit special today.
I now believe Jamie can go as far as he wants in our sport and he is in great surroundings with top level coaching advice and the likes of Olllie and Fui to learn from - what better environment to realise his potential.

| Brilliant result today! The ONLY thing that worries me at the moment is lack of depth at half-back, should injuries come a-calling at a critical time.
