| Never thought I'd say this but on Saturday I missed not being able to go in the Legends bar, my normal port of call, so instead went into Leigh east club ,enjoyed it in there ,quite a few People in there ,most watching the football match, but the beer was good .I had a couple of pints of their excellent mild beer. saw a few who would normally be in the Legends ,including a couple of Old duffers drinking red wine if you please, I will more than likely be back in the Legends on Friday for the 20s Grand final but I can recommend the East Clubhouse ,very nice.   |

The Legends Bar has been good recently but on Saturday it was needed to house all the former players who were attending the Heritage Day.. Leigh East is a fantastic alternative BUT this Friday, the night of the Under 20's Grand Final, East are staging a sell out concert -The John Martin Sound.
Theres always a fabulous welcome at Leigh East.
