I don't know who was in charge of distributing the leaflets (I got one with my lottery/lifeline leaflets) but someone on Leighlife posted this
"I came home to find a leaflet from Saturday night rugby it was on the pavement by the front door and when I looked up and down the street every door had a one so instead of posting them they had just been thrown on the floor"[/i

I did ask the poster which area they live in but they had already gone offline before I saw the message. Whoever did it obviously wasn't doing their job properly.

Yeah we didn't get one in Rydal Street. I've got a season ticket and I can't go this Sat as it happens but that's not the point obviously. Whoever was delivering them wants a good talking too.

If they've been dumped then that's bloody annoying & as waste of money & shouldn't be volunteering to do them if they're not doing it properly. There was hundreds more small leaflets produced for this game a great deal more than usual & whilst I did post in more places than normal I was leaving 3 or 4 at the bars in pubs whether people are taking them out of the pub & dropping I don't know. I posted in the all the barbers shops, Hogans, takeaway & the off licence on Railway Road but I didn't drop my share of posters any where whether other volunteers have done that or the business's have chucked them I don't know.

I picked up the family ticket yesterday from the ticket office as I brought two little uns for their first rugby outing. No season ticket for them though

I'm sure if you ring the ticket office tomorrow, they will sort it out for you.

You should have got your juniors season tickets and I can only assume the seller was unaware of the deal. We have a few part time staff on match days etc who do a great job but unfortunately these things happen once in a while.

If you call into the ticket office and ask for Andrew, refer to this message then it will be resolved. Any problems pm me.

I also took my two young boys with me for their first ever rugby game (and my wife's first game since 2005). Ticket office tried to charge me £46...until I reminded them about this offer. We also didn't get junior season tickets. They very much enjoyed the game though, so hopefully now lifelong fans.

BTW (Loophole alert!!) I was interested to notice a couple of guys in front in me getting their tickets through this offer and walked off boasting about not even having any children with them, and they'd saved some money. The things people do to save a couple of quid eh?

Part time staff or not. They SHOULD be aware of all offers.
