Can someone explain why both Leigh and Keighley have to play midweek games when both Sheffield and Rochdale have a game outstanding and have had for weeks and weeks.

Sheffield can't play night games, the lighting at Owlerton is inadequate.

No explaination but with the whole of the town buzzing after Friday, and although it’s a tough ask, I think playing so soon afterwards could be a great decision hopefully we’ll attract loads of ‘glory hunters’.

I know there’s often is a downer after a big game but I think us the fans will help to nullify that epecially if theres an increase in numbers, our squad is good enough to hold its own regardless of whom Rowley selects and Fax will be more than a little concerned about playing us whilst we’re riding high.

Up to us to raise the roof on Wednesday - the players have said themselves in the past that the fans can give them a huge lift when they need it most at times like this.

Leigh made an appeal for the game to be put back to the Challenge Cup weekend but Halifax objected thats why it is being played Wednesday.

Can't blame 'Fax for trying to use every advantage possible, I suppose!

I'll be shouting, whistling and banging my hands together when those lads come to the field on Wednesday.
