He's high profile outsie of SL,scoring for fun and in the scheme of things would be relatively cheap,the days of massive transfer fees, apart from the odd one are gone.I'm not surprised more teams are linked with Kes but hopefully he will realize its better to stay playing regularly at Leigh within what seems a camp with a great team spirit and possible glory at the end of the season.

Whatever happens I wish the lad well and hope he stays at Leigh but can fully understand if he goes to a bigger club in the future.

I'm a neutral ,went to the game on Sunday at Dewsbury for what its worth I'll give you my opinion of Brierly, watched him from his days at cas, as a footballer always rated him but he's in my opinion a bit iffy, at Leigh he's playing behind a big aggressive pack put him behind a beaten set of forwards ' and you'd see the same weaknesses I've seen since he were a junior , never saw him in the first half when Dewsbury were well on top, it was only in the second half when 13 against 12 gave your pack dominance that the lad came into prominence, expect the cavalry to come to his aid but I think what I'm saying is what I've seen since the lad played academy

Yes you are probably right when the forwards are unable to "shield" the half's or backs from opposition forwards you don't notice them around to much . Isn't that the same of any half or back in any team where the forwards are unable to create the room for the little guys, and no i wasn't being sarcastic for a change.

The point I'm making is in my opinion all the puplicity young brielys getting at the moment is down entirely to the fact he's playing behind a dominant set of forwards, I agree halfbacks can play if their pack is on top,but the top half make things happen under any conditions ,not trying to undermine the lads ability I've said I rate the kids football skills but having seen the lad since academy days I question his toughness

Personally I think Leeds have 'leaked' this to unsettle our lads before we play them. If that's the case they need to employ a new press man because it's a bit of an amateurish attempt.
