Agree, nice guy good talker on the microphone and after dinner speaker etc but not a businessman or CEO sadly and its rumoured he left a right mess behind him when he resigned from his last spell by many who had to pick up the pieces and ensure we still had a club for the BOM to take over. Seems to be working his way back in with this new regime and was referred to as a "a club director" in a recent press release. Backward step by the BOM if true IMO, nowt against the chap but what's the old saying never go back (especially if you failed last time) and I also believe that if you do what you've always done you get what you've always got. |

In last weekend's programme, Allan is not listed as a member of the BOM. He is listed as a joint programme editor, which suggests that the programme is up to date. I believe that the director in question, might have been wrong in citing AR as a 'director'. |

The key word in your post is "rumoured". Unless you know it to be fact why post it. |
