| Sorry to say it but what is the point of a man of the match.
I have no issues at all with Sean, but really MOM. Tommy G turned his blood to water, saved at least two tries with one on ones. a couple of others could have had it but did Sean play 25 mins today??.
If its going to be a lucky dip then at least tell us, don't make it look as though you hadn't even seen the game.
Rant over

| Never take much notice of the sponsors one anyway, I'm sure they had their reasons.
Goulden and Wilkes both had beasts of games.

| The selection of a MOM will always find those that disagree with it, it is a team game so is it really necessary?

Reffy , I think it just gives the Main Match Sponser a chance to get involved , I didn't get a Programme today , I was told they were sold out Cmon Mr Mazey we need more printed if this is so if not then I would appreciate someone selling me one .I was told todays Main Match Sponser was AB Sundecks .

| I have to completely agree with Always A Leyther. I really don't want to say what I think of Sean's performance. But Tommy and Jake Emmit should have got it and if it doesn't mean anything don't announce it over the tannoy. Even though we won today that team has problems for me.

| They have major problems in defence and in attack at the moment where people either don't do their job or don't know what to do. We have looked disjointed for the last three games Ian so to me that is a problem. Penky was rightly subbed today because he didn't look like he wanted to be there for me. I think he got a rocket up his because he was a different player when he came back on. I think he was only put back on because we were short of bodies. Sam Barlow had a face like thunder when he was coming off the field over something.

| The sponsors part with their grand or however much it costs and part of their deal is that they select a MOM of their choice and have it announced to the crowd along with an acknowledgement of their sponsorship. If their choice offends you in some way just shrug it off and move on - it doesn't effect anybody!

Yes you are quite right BFFC and after my red wine fix I can see your point. But, they must have heard the laughs, groans and the lack of applause when it was announced.

| I remember a couple of years ago Lee Briers had an absolute shocker yet was picked as match day sponsor. The chap who's company sponsored that particular game at the HJ wrote on a similar thread to this that they wanted Lee in their box afterwards for publicity pictures, hence the seemingly strange choice. If you fork out the money to sponsor a game it is your prerogative, simple as that.
Personally I never pay attention to all that malarkey, however I have enjoyed the little presentations they do for man of the match, tackler etc in the bar after London games in the bar in previous years. Perhaps one to consider.

It may well be the red wine which was responsible for the sponsors decision!!!
