| Fantastic squad we have assembled for this season! Looks well balanced with plenty of depth, size, skill and, for once, some pace!!! Very excited! Only slight surprise in the squad numbers for me is Sarsfield at 11, would have expected Finnegan or Aspinwall to have been given that shirt. Can't wait to see how we go, roll on the new season  |

Defo a great looking squad with plenty of back up & strength in depth, although I know people say the squad numbers are not nailed on what the coach sees as his strongest team numbers 2 & 3 worry me if they are played together again this season. Been great players and servants but caught out way too often last season & would be again this in my opinion ( and we are all aloud them ) better options in the squad for these places imho.

I bet some of the players who have been involved for the last few years are relieved with that squad as quite a few had to play with hard knocks.

Football players are generally world class international athletes, so would fall into 'exceptional skills' or whatever sub category its officially called. Amateur rugby players dont fall into same category.

Plus they bring millions of pounds of Tax Revenue in,which helps when considering Visas,I think if you looked at overseas RL players very few stay over here once they stop playing and I would say they are a very low risk visitor to our shores and only stay when employed. |
