From starting almost EVERY England game since 2011, then in our biggest one for 6 years....Dropped from the squad altogether.

He has hardly been outstanding. I think he is a lot better however than he has performed in our recent World Cup games.

Have no idea as it is too far to walk from the bus stop with me being frail.

My reasoning is we will hold them in the pack and on the flanks but we need to produce options at half back.

I think Tomkins is the key to us winning and he will do the biz if played there.

Widdop is more competant under the high ball.

We can win this on Saturday if we think outside the box. Stay the same we won't win do something different and we can. Bet your dad agrees too.

Agreed, that can be the only reason for dropping Chase....any other - McNamara has lost the plot (starting with Widdop @ 6) !!!

Tomkins isn't a 6, he is a broken field runner and is best coming from fullback.

Don't worry ReffyI know where he will play on Saturday I just like to be able to show folk I am a knowall as you will see about 3pm on Saturday. I hope McNamarra reads this. Then I can get behind our lads a week Saturday.

Tomkins would be sensational in his proper position of halfback and would frighten the life out of the opposion!
I dont think there is a defender in the world who would like to face Tomkin one -on-one ? He would certainly give Thurston something to think about! Dont forget sam's ball distribution has brought us tries in all our matches so far! Left at fullback he will be targeted with the high ball and he's already shown his uncertainty in that roll !

Widdop at standoff for me and Chase is over rated.His kicking game is not the best.

Although I absolutely think Rob Burrow is fntstic the New Zealanders would target him all the time. Sad fact is he just isn't big enough. Another impact player yes but not a starting scrum half. You need the physique nd mentality of a world class middleweight boxer along with the rugby brain nd hands of Wally Lewis for this game.

Sorry mate I do not agree. Rob as been playing RL at the top level for a long time and his size has not effected that.

He must start on Saturday for me.
