The new BOM hasn't had a Fans' Forum yet - I think it would be an excellent idea for them to start them up again. Thanks for the suggestion. From what I can gather, the BOM/BOD have been somewhat busy, the last few months, getting the club's finances in order, amongst a number of other initiatives. With respect though, in my opinion the Forums, excellent as they are, are just one method of communication - there are many others to address/improve, as well.

Yes, I did praise the last Board for their transparency, and I do stand by that. They were a good deal more open about things than previous administrations had been. So far, the current BOD/BOM have taken that transparency up a few more notches.

Finally, you're right, Trevor and 'his team' (I guess that might even include me ) did put in a massive amount of time and effort, but I would suggest that this BOD/BOM is on track to better that - for one thing, there are more of them, inputting time expertise, and cash.

It was a bit ruder than that.

I think the timing has to be right, lots of smelly stuff had to be sorted out, then shirt sponsorship and design, player recruitment budget setting etc
I would like to see the forum having a real objective and be truly informative, shirt launch/season ticket push, player unveiling to be a part of the agenda imo - questions posted for answering at the end instead of the usual suspects asking the same questions over and over again with long pauses as the mic gets passed around etc
The night should start and end with a 'wow', probably change the name from 'forum' to 'Stakeholders evening' or something
Personally in season forums should be foc to season tickets and chargeable to non (say £2/3 to a charity) - my opinion of course

I thought fans forums came about when the club was in the brown stuff and had no option but to be transparent (or at least tell us what they wanted us to know in order to extract cash) and needed to send out the begging bowl and rely on hand outs??

Do we not trust these new investors/ owners??? whatever they may be (BOM/BOD)??? as to me the news coming out of the club has never been as regular or of such a high standard and quality not to mention positive giving genuine hope for a bright future for the first time in many years.

I agree with Maurice above an event that has some purpose would be good but a room fun of nosy busy bodies wanting to myther directors and ask pointless questions doesn't really serve any point especially not anymore as it seems we finally have a board and management team to take us forward without begging or borrowing.

IMO we should all focus our efforts on getting behind these guys and offering help and assistance and doing whatever we can financially to back them weather that be a pound or a thousand pounds or even greater as a sponsor.

I think regular 'Fans Forums' are one of a number of good communication tools we should be employing - we have to keep the current 'investors' (i.e. fans) involved, as well as attracting new ones.

Not necessarily right now Frank, especially as the season has ended. I feel there is a place for them, from the view of personal communication with the supporters. I believe we have to utilise every possible means of communicating, and you can't beat the personal touch - provided it is done in a structured way.

I don't think a Fans Forum would be a good idea at the moment, there is a fair amount of dust that needs time to settle.

We would need Terry Waite to chair the Fans Forum at the moment .
