People moaning about the scrum half business, regardless of there squad numbers riddy is our scrum half, ryan is our stand off. Riddy is the general. Ryan does what riddy says. A bit like sinfield and mcguire, briers and myler. But yet alls ive seen is people slagging off our brightest young talent in ryan. Surely we cant make him a scapegoat?? He got us to the nrc final on one leg and won us the final on one leg also, 25 tries in a season where he missed 6 games and people say hes not been at the races, hes invisible?? Jesus. Spoke to riddy after the game and he said ryan is in for an operation. So before you slag any of our players off appreciate what they have done this season.

Yes it tiresome isn't it knew myself Ryan had been playing on one leg last few weeks and he's scored several tries duri g this time , he'll have a good rest now and be back in the new season at his best . Good luck with the op Ryan

Well I didn't know that he was carrying an injury and I bet most people didn't so don't have a go at people who comment on what they have seen in front of them. It's alright being in the know and having inside info isn't it.

What's Ryan's injury/operation? This was Ryan's first full season where's played the full 80 minutes & he's done a great job for us even on one leg I'm sure he'll be back even stronger next season onwards & upwards role on 2014

Think Ryan will be bigger and stronger for next season

His knee has been strapped up so I think it was evident really .When he was scoring all those tries before his injury people couldn't get enough of him how fickle some people are .

I think he took a bad knock in the first half. Johny Pownalls dad told me he too ie his lad will now have a shoulder operation now our season is over.

Neither would have played yesterday if they weren't fit to start.

There is no doubt young Ryan is an exciting player, possessing plenty of flair, has bags of pace and full of promise. He has been a great acquisition to our squad and we are lucky to have his talent at our disposal but where do you play Ryan Brierley to make him most effective??

No 'it begs the question' when 90% of the squad are carrying injuries who do you play and where.

Blaming it on injuries and paper thin squads every year gets a bit tedious. Don't see any of the others conplaining about it. I am sure they suffer as many injuries as us. Maybe they just have better rehab methods than us. Or maybe we are just unlucky.

Getting to the playoffs has not generated the same excitement for me as previous years. Possibly downto the fafact we have one win In 6 leading up to them
