It was a poor game,bad defence from both sides,agree with you francis about madens try,but at least we won and ill take that.

I thought that Bob Beswick (apart from the knock on from the kick of) was outstanding throughout.

Steve Maden's try was a display of sheer determination, power and skill down the far flank and finished smack bang under the posts. That should shut up some of his critics for a couple more weeks at least.

I thought we played some great rugby at times but our execution did let us down today which cost us at least 3 certain tries.

There was a genuine reason for that though. Boy was it hot out there today.

Well done to all the lads for returning home with a victory in difficult conditions.

Charlie thought our completion rate was very poor today , to many dropped balls , as has been said the weather was very hot , im told in Napoli it was hotter though , even in Naples Florida ,a good turn out by the Leythers Fans , the Gravy was very nice , I agree Ste Maden scored a very good try , but the Leythers must learn to play to the whistle I think 3 of their tries could have been stopped , but Charlie was never worried about the Final outcome , Gravy all round , especially in HOT weather , my red nose was running .

Where was Penky - is he injured.

It was a great try, but defo not Mado's best. That tag goes to his fantastic try against Huddersfield away in our 2005 super league season when he had pace to burn and ran full length just 1 inch in from touch, hurdling a tackler on the way.
Pretty bad game today. Just glad to come away with the win, as some people have said.

Apart form the knockons I thought it was a very entertaining game. Playing in extreme heat like that is just as hard as playing in a down pour. I can see why you like going there Ian. The people were lovely and I had a laugh with two of the Donny players dads who were sat next to me. Three points is three points.

Without doubt Tony , a great Stadium , did you dress up for the game ?Im told the Doncaster Drag Queens Society Club , had a couple of Leythers inquiring about Ball Gowns and Wigs .

A sensible move to attract more supporters. Doncaster, whilst still a no smoking stadium, have agreed to let supporters go outside the ground at halftime for a cigarette.

Funny - I'm a smoker, but since we moved to the Sports Village it has never bothered me that it's a no smoking venue (or indeed any ground were same rules apply). I tend to have one just before we go in....and that 'sees me on' for the couple of hours max that we are inside the ground.....then I spark up again as soon as we are back out!!

If anyone 'needs' a fag more often, then why not uses patches or gum, or get one of them e-ciggie things?? I can't imagine a 'smokers corner' outside the ground, that can be utilised by those inside, is the missing piece of the jigsaw that is gonna double our crowds!!

There was someone actually smoking in the north stand the other week and yes it was a real one the smoke kept wafting over !
