With everything that's going on and with the difficulty we are having, wonder wether it would be useful contacting the CEO of Emirates isn't he the one from Leigh who sponsored us in super league if he knows of the situation were in maybe he could pull a few strings and help out, just a thought

I was wondering that the other day. I think with the World Cup and expanded WCC we are going to see Emirates become more involved in the sport. |

Dave the guy from Emirates only sponsered Leigh last time because we were in SL , and to my knowledge it was only in the form of a roof advert on the Main Stand at Hilton Park , personally i dont think he would bother unless we are back in SL .
For me if Sponsers and potential Sponsers could be brought together in some way to support the Club and BOD , then its a way forward , what i heard from a few people yesterday gave out good vibes for our Future . |

Also had a retractable tunnel if my memory serve me.
Regardless of whether it was because Leigh were in SL the clb would be crazy not to ask the question, better than just assuming the answer is no.
I'm sure the cost to Emirates would be like petty cash compared to any other sponsorship deal they have at the minute |

A mate of mine happened to be travelling next to a marketing bloke from Emirates, while my mate was wearing the SL shirt with the Emirates logo on. This got them talking... the bloke didn't know Leigh specifically, but he said that for a while, their policy was sponsoring sports teams with stadium roofs for one season, because nobody ever painted over their logo if it was huge and inaccessible. |

I said that as soon as it was painted on, they were never going to renew the deal and they were never going to see the sign painted over. Good business sense, most of those logos probably still remain. |
