After last weeks poor defensive display the lads got stuck in today against a poor Hunslet team the lads pulled off some great tackles and Hunslet had no answer to Leigh defensive .

Got to be fair to Hunslet, in the first half they made an attempt to chuck the ball around a bit but chose the wrong day to do it.

Defensively top drawer in appalling conditions and as stated it could quite easily have been 70. Great final try from Hoppy displaying a fair turn of pace for a big prop.

Good defensive display but Hunslet were poor. We will get better that that today which is why I will making the trip up norf on thursday. Sam will be getting some stick for that outragous dummy for his last try. Sam, Mick Ost and Tommy G stood out and JT tried his nuts off as usual. Which mistakes ? I noticed the new rule were Leigh kicked through on 1st tackle near the line but as nothing came of it he started play again with a Leigh ball and the other was a kick from way down field which again was taken back and started with a Leigh ball .

When you are defending your own line I understood ball stealing was allowed he missed that I thought or am I wrong ?

Thought Taylor had a great impact from the Bench. Finnigan was solid again and I think he will be a top signing. Re needing pace on the left, pownall is one of the quickest players in the league! Or do you mean right side?
