Yesterday we signed up 22 new members, to sign up its now reduced from £5 to £3 for the remaining of the season

Our next fun day will the the NRC Quarter final - we are hoping to have more stalls/band/tombola and a few more surprises.

Does anybody have any feedback on the fun day? what else can we add to improve on yesterday?

Moving forward for next year we will hopefully be introducing BabyCenturions and looking into the U16s

onwards and upwards!

I personally thought you all did a great job yesterday. Some of the parents may think it was maybe a little sp but if you ask any of the kids - the ones who matter - they will all say they had a great time.

It was a good tester for a bigger event next time and any mistakes will surely be ironed out.

Well done to all the organisers.

It was good,the birds were a little out of the way and some people may have missed them, however not sure where else they could have gone, but need more things for the kids next time, perhaps Parky Pig giving out sweets, and a few rides chargeable of course, a kids disco maybe, just a few ideas.

I asked Kate to give some feedback, knowing she'd be honest. I'll bring up what she said at the next meeting. Think if we'd have had an ice cream van, and not got stung on the location of the falconry it may have worked out really really well.

The returns we made are superb seen as it was just a 'dip our toes in' to see how it can be done better next time with the logistics of it.

A few obvious, free things can be done to make it tonnes better next time.

Good call re ice cream van Jonny and maybe parky pig giving out stuff, The kids lovely Parky,also, the kids dont tend to do stalls, they're for their parents , the bouncy castle seemed to go well.

a lack of communication from ourselfs and parky, but now we have contact details hopefully that will be fine. The birds of pret were supposed to be at the side of the north but the land was bought and signed for saturday. Plus the flat ground worked out better were they were.

Definately needs some music outside the stadium not only for fun days but also match days. It makes people feel happier

What about some stocks and wet sponges, and a player who not currently playing kids would love that

My two girls enjoyed it and it was a great first effort, well done to all concerned particularly the NSFG, gillian etc... This needs to be a regular thing so families know its on, familiarity and continuity will increase the numbers.

Areas for improvement are some music, dancing, facepaint, ice cream, and rides (cheap!).

There is a summer family fair at Pennington Park this weekend, all rides a quid and if its sunny the place will be chocka.

Might be worthwhile doing a fact finding mission and handing out some flyers/membership forms etc.

We did try for music but the LSV don't have a PA system outside. Found out yesterday we can plug speakers into the lights (the bouncy castle was plugged in there)
A mate of mine said his band will play next time, plus one of the apprentices plays in a band.

We need some volunteers for painting faces - maybe if anyone knows anybody who goes to the beauty college they can ask or recommend?

My Mrs used to manage the beauty college and says that when she had events planned for there the girls would be all enthusiastic at college and not show for the event.
