For all the ones that know categorically that England haven't a chance of winning today, can we have some I will "show my @rse in the Spinning Jenny shopping centre" type comments if England win. Only post if you will do what you say mind should impossible happen.

I think that we CAN win, but the aussies are deserved favourites so we will have to turn up collectively and individually for 80 minutes. We need to scrap the conservative style, the aussies will eat it up and come at us twice as hard. We need to play it sensibly but when we get a chance take it ruthlessly and confidently and throw caution to the wind WHEN THE CHANCE IS ON!

If we keep mistakes and penalties to a minimum, stick to our structures in defence and take our chances when they come (and they will!!) then we have a good enough team to turn them over.

As long as an NRL refferee is in charge of the match Australia will win , they are too scared of losing their job

It is incredibly frustrating watching the blatant niggling , lying on , over zealous tackling on certain players , all allowed time after time

England played very well but with that ref in charge we were never gonna win ! Bring on New Zealand

Ref was a joke.....try not given for England, Convict player not sent off, and blatent holding down on nearly every tackle (did us for same thing most of time)....Ref should be sacked

Only good thing to come out of that game was Slaters injury.

Serious injury to ANY player should not be cited as "good", especially a world class one!

Wasnt to be nasty pal.......Slaters injury helps other teams as he is by far the best player in the world and his injuy helps us if we get to the final which I think we will.

Australia didnt impress me at all and IMO with a decent ref the result could of been different.

Brilliant display by England - BUT we can't afford a 'dodgy' ref, they can. 1st half Ref was OK, but 'lost the plot' 2nd half. Briscoe's try, he should have been 'calm' about the situation, and used the 'video ref' - an experienced official would have done so. Williams should have been 'sin binned' but typical RL ref, didn't have the b***s to act, put it on report.
Next game, I wouldn't pick Rangi Chase, England need a TEAM player.

Absolutely made up the hunchbacked freak as done his shoulder in,perhaps if he had tried to tackle the winger instead of trying the maim him with his shoulder charge he wouldn't now be injured.

Don't cry any tears for these barstewards who were piggy backed up and down the field by one of there own refs,yes I know he's a kiwi but were does he want to ref?

Nice to see the players have some fire back in there bellies with a couple of punch ups,its what we have been missing for years

The ref was not ok for all the game. He rightly penalised Ben Westwood for using the ball player to get to his feet by pushing on his back but never ever penalised the Aussies for it or the elbows, knees and standing over a player who is trying to get to his feet. I was seething listening to Sheen before the game talking about it going unpunished. They are the worst culprits of it. He had just penalised Westwood then watched Rangi Chase get to his feet with Ingles still trying to pull his collar off. Sheen is a very manipulative person me thinkjs. Having said that I still don't think we would have won. ( Just edited)
