| With a blank fixture list this round its Widnes Vikings in the NRC next up.
Hoping we may see a few returness from injury (R H Paul maybe ?).
Did we pick any injuries up on sunday or was it everyone fit and in good health ?
Must admit regardless of what happened on Sunday this is one heck of a tough fixture with probably more riding on this match for us than Widnes (in terms of the SL announcement will be like winning a cup in its own right), I actually think Widnes will need no motivation after being well and truely walloped last sunday.
Hopefully they will have a tough game v York City Knights on sunday (although playing games is a good way of staying fit).
This is the toughest fixture yet and its a Cup quarter final , so its a winner takes all type of game.
Our lads are flying and confidence must be sky high, I just worry that we may get a little complacent (witness first half v Widnes).
A tough one to call but i'll go for Leigh by 6 (although as usual I'll be very very happy with a injury time drop goal win).
One final thing - its OUR ground not Widnes's, lets be the first to sing and first to chant, and keep it up althrough the game and during the warm up - not just if were winning or scoring tries (memo to club/LSV here - most atmosphere/ singing occurs after a Try has been scored , maybe put the disco music on after the conversion so as not to kill the atmosphere being generated ).
Looking forward to it

| Unless someone is injured I wouldn't pick Paul, for me on current form Riddy, Ellis, Duffy and Govin deserve their place.

Noticed Donlan went off but it's not the first time he's gone off before the end when the game is won. On the topic of RHP - who would you drop to put him in the team?! For me, I think Govin would ordinarily be the most likely to drop out but he was one of the top three in our side on Sunday so I just don't see that happening and Robbie might even make a guest appearance on Sky?!

Completely agree. The atmosphere on Sunday was great at times, as it was against Fev, but it didn't help matters on Sunday trying to compete against the PA - it sounded pretty loud in the North after those tries but all you can hear on the video is the music being played after the tries. There's no game like Widnes to build the atmosphere though and hopefully both sides will recognise the importance of going towards their own fans in the second half.

| Agree Matt. When we score any noise made in the North Stand is drowned out by the PA system they should leave it a minute.
Oh and a week Thursday lets hope that annoying drumboy does not come. I think it is almost as bad as that racket those ameteur musicians make at Leeds Rhinos games.
Now if it was Motown I could put up with it.

| I don't think RHP will play I very much doubt it with nerve damage but if he did with Gov,Riddy,Duffy & Ellis playing so well & us being short of 2 props due to injury I'd have Riddy at 6 Ellis 7, Duffy & RHP at 9, Gov at 13 & Taylor used as a prop

Totally agree about the muppet with the drum , that clown has about as much rhythm and timing has I have on a dance floor.

| It was bobbins on Sunday too Ste. We should have one like the one at HP. I'll be honest, I don't think Robbie can get in the team. He should have to wait for his chance, then prove he's good enough like everyone else.

Don't know, was just saying even if he is fit, with all the others playing well I wouldn't pick him.

I'm not too sure, think the experience coming off the bench for a big game is invaluable.
I do agree though the lads that have come in have been brilliant.
Nice to see a coach at Leigh having selection headaches for once

It's all about opinions, but I'd like to see more 'size' on the bench than Paul could add, and I wouldn't drop Govin for him, wouldn't mind seeing Bibey back tho'.
