W!g@ns home scholarship games for 15's and 16's are to be played at LSV!

Also running scholarship playing teams are widnes, featherstone rovers and sheffield eagles!

LSV needs all the money it can get.

Stadium,i always call it the LSV.

The LSV is the whole site , they could be playing at Leigh East

Should we read much in to it if the LSV conveniently reduce their 'commercial' rate for hiring the place for such games? Are Leigh not running a scholarship team this season?

I know its the whole site but When people ask me were am i going i always say im going to the lsv even though im only going to the stadium.
your quite right they could be playing at leigh east or they might be on the pitch at the back of leigh east were iv'e seen saint,leigh ru and various other clubs training.
i cant imagine the rest of the village losing money tbh,there always seems to be something going on.

I wonder why when they have good base at Orrell?, it wont be at the main stadium it will be on the other pitches at Leig East

Pretty sure it's going to be at the stadium as its costing a fair bit if it doesnt change! Don't think certain people at w!g@an will let them play at orrell and Leigh do run a scholarship programmme but not one that can play games this season!

I am now confused over the scholarship thing. Were we not told by the RFL that we could not run this team? Also were Widnes not the only club in the Championship that were given the nod to run such a team? Or am I a year behind. I was under the understanding that the fact that the RFL had only given Widnes the go ahead to have a scholarship was their golden ticket as no one else had this ticket.

This is why iv'e tried to stay out of this debate.its been very confusing,in fact i would say people from all corners have been deliberatley miss leading people with information on this subject.

How is anyone being miss lead? Blackburn use the facility as it is open for use by others is it not! At least hopefully people from our club would be in attendance to view possible future talent, which is a positive! Was slightly confused when I knew Sheffield and fev were running teams though!

I only ment about the running of academies,not about the lsv or who can or cannot play there.
