great for the club and Ian to release this, people where getting worried (rightly so) i for one didnt want to see us starting another season with another new coach who hadnt picked the squad.
i feel more positive already

Never doubted for one minute Ian would,nt stay and see out his contract, he took us to 3rd in Championship this season next year with the few quality players he,s going to be bringing in
i can see us playing better RL and finally getting to the finals we missed out on this season.
All the coaching staff have done really well this season when you look how last season panned out................

If the money is at £100k for 12 players I can't see many quality players being brougt in. It has already been said that players from last year are turning down offers, so why would better quality than last years players come for the same amount? The only quality we will have will be those who are still on contract and are already at an agreed level of income. Maybe once they have gone around the clubs and realised they is limited funds at most clubs they will return to Leigh. But then do you get the best out of them when they are now playing for alot less than they think they are worth?
