Well we are all assuming all the missing players today will be back.

Should they not be and especially same pack I would bring Meekin back and Ainscough.

Scrum half I would move Duffs back to that position and stand off I would look through our squad and pick one although that would be a tough one.

Whatever even todays team cannot play that bad again can they ?

Can't bring back the loan players until they have served a month with Swinton.

Correct of course Matt so I will employ positive thinking and that Bibey is back. I would then have Taylor back too and hope that Goulden who has been having a good season plays better than he did today.

wasn't in the pack where they beat us but in the halves Im hoping Riddy and Wobbie are back

I do not disagree with that Fred but I know Nash has played in Superleague but he for me did not seem to have enough agression driving the ball in yesterday whilst that may be down to lack of game time. .

Batley's scrum half punished us but although Durbin made a few runs which came to nothing I do not see much point in picking someone who has to play on the wing when the opposition have the ball with due respect to Alstead and Higson.

I would also personally prefer Higson in the centre but I am not going to argue with IM who we all know knows what he is doing.

Nanyn had a very bad game too in my opinion. So did others and that speculative pass by a player who I described as classy after last weeks game cost us big time. Sh1t happens I do not think Batley are a bad side but even yesterdays team I hope cannot possibly play that badly again.We will bounce back from this bad defeat but Batley did tackle well and will be up for it on Thursday.

I am sure us North Standers will really try to lift whoever is selected for the coming game.

Don't disagree Fred, but I think the Batley backs had a much better platform to work from than whoever found themselves playing in our halves.

Notice most scrum halves defend out on the wing when team not in possession. Like I said Matt it was in the halves where we were 'beaten' I think you'll find it was the stand off who had the better game Moore isn't a creator as such where as Handforth is one of if not the best around at his 'craft'.
Nanyn only played half a game and for me played his normal type of game, you have to get the ball in his hands in the opponents 20 and we couldnt get there at all and when we did we cocked it up.
Don't forget not only did we play badly but Batley played exceptionally well, they will have to back that up, and as for us well that depends on the team and if they want it.
