commentators complained about lack of atmosphere at game and when the leythers were singing stand up if you hate wigan eddie hemmings went into a rant. i thought his hair would turn grey! we have to be politically correct with singing now! think we should have a song about eddie hemmings when on sky. how about theres only one eddie hemmings only one eddie hemmings he used to be grey but now hes just gay walking in a hemmings wonderland ha ha there goes any sl chance.

Hemmings is a Widnes fan. So I'm sure that he thinks by complaining about Leigh fans, in case we manage to tick a box, he's helping their SL bid.

He's a waste of space and wants to get a sense of humour. Mind you that would be difficult having that prat Stevo sat next to you all those years.

And yet Hemmings doesn't even flinch at St.Helens everytime you hear on TV ' The referee's a w@nker' at 2000 decibels..

Hemmings wasnt complaining,nobody was, it WAS mentioned by the touchline guy,then Hemmings said how can they call a player from this club when he has just scored 4 tries,i agree,Tomkins has a great future.wish he played for Leigh,and hes not from Wigan,hesfrom Chorley,I dont hateWiganers,ive said this before.

Tomkins is brilliant as I pointed out to several Wigan fans yesterday. Re the hate thing I feel that is stretching it a bit as most of them seem to expect a bit of goading and take it in good part. For example when a group of Wiganers tried to go into the pub I was using. I was stood on the step outside and told them there where no pies left so maybe they should go to the Market Hall and they said they'd still risk it.

Eddie weren't complaining at the fact Leigh fans were singing but at the fact it was about a rival club team! It was an international game and therefore the singing should have been 100% to get behind the England team as a whole! It's no wonder our international game doesn't get the press it deserves when the fans are more interested in scorin points against other clubs than gettin behind their country!

Just a bit of banter at the end of the day! Everyone seemed to enjoy them selves yesterday just a few trolls seem to want to have a pop on here go spout your dribble some where else

Sorry to say, but Stevo and Eddie Hemmings sound more like two old duffers more and more.
I prefer the Thursday night games, partly becuase of the breath of fresh air and knowledge the commentators bring. The game is far more honest at the level.

hemmings has his own agenda he dosent like leigh hes a widnes fan and for a guy who works for sky hes views are suppost to be impartial and when ever sky come to leigh theres always one of them who has a pop anyway if its not hemmings its brian carney if its not carney its phil clarke they never give us any credit or big us up like widnes or barrow and halifax.

Maybe so about Hemmings and Carney, but i thinkPhil Clarke is very fair, and talks alot of sense.
