Apparantly was telling the Haven fans to "kick it off with the Leigh Fans" an elderly gentleman on our coach heard them saying. That is a disgrace.

The stewards were a disgrace to the club, aswel as some of their fans. Stewards offering out leigh fans for a fight, very professional that is. Not. Also i heard the main steward who was causing a lot of the trouble, used to be a bouncer around the town and had been banned from being on the doors, for a reason i dont know, so he has become to a steward, he was a thug to say the least.

Ryan there were about three guys wearing HEAD STEWARD 'bibs' I spoke to a red haired guy who was very apologetic about his stewards and fans behaviour.

Should any Haven fans read this who is that idiot in the wheel chair who accused a Leigh fan of punching him ? He is the cause of this ridiculous incident and that equally barmy steward who is physchotic ?

The Haven club must know who they are and I cannot believe both of these idiots have not tried to cause trouble before. Their absolutely braindead behaviour is sad and a serious problem for their club.

I am not making this up and I am not a young hothead either quite frankly it reminds me of the incident when a Haven fan was supposedly assaulted by a Leigh fan wielding a baseball bat at a Leigh game at Hilton Park.

Yeh try getting into any sporting event with a baseball bat presumably hidden in your pocket. Two complete clowns and they cause this sort of bad feeling it should be sorted and these two clowns barred from attending ANY sporting event.

I expect Haven Bouncers have never quite evolved from the 80s/90s bouncer thugs we we were used to in Halifax back then. As the nursery rhyme went "And he took him by the left leg and threw him down the stairs," Although our local horror nightspot, The acapulco still employs this breed.

I saw this bloke who was 40 -55 ish walking with a stick, welding his stick and confronting one of the senior ladies off our coach, as he walked away screaming and swearing.
I asked him what his problem was, so he then went in my face and started to kick off wth me and said that the lady went up into his face, at the end of the game and waved her arms and said yeahhhhhh.
Which I think she may have shouted yeahhhh, as it was one of those type of games but not maliously as she isnt like that, and certainly not "in his face".
He was very rude and was still swearing as he walked away.
I ran two coaches there and I will be writing to their club regarding their fans behaviour.

A Steward must remain impartial at all times, they are there too 'Police' both sets of fans. Best thing to do is write to the Safety Officer about it, or the Licensing Agency. Just remember this thread next time you have a pop at our Stewards for being 'Over protective'.

Just rang and spoke to their manager and told about the incidents, the one I saw and I mentioned what we was told about the Elderly Bloke in the wheel chair, however if theres anyone who witnessed it closely and knows more by all means ring yourself 01946 692915

most mobile phones have a video recorder option, someone should have recorded the muppets. just goes to show how professional our stewards really are

Thankyou WBK. All our stewards are trained up to Level 2. We are proffesional and yes do sometimes get stick.
We care about doing our job right, and even though the fans don't always see it that way. We have the best interests of the crowd and the safety certificate at heart.

All I can say is Haven fans to the South Stand next time we play them after the latest incidents
