Very interesting read ,thanks for putting it on,it seems to imply his backroom staff would have been different to the one he got and i liked the part were he said about them earning his respect.

nothing new though he said the same thing in other interviews and a lot on the Dec night at the LSV, plus I didnt see the 'implication' re his backroom staff at all, IM himself appointed his reserve team coach Jukesy and after the season they had was anyone surprised? Rowley was/is on contract and thats the reference made, and contrary to all expectations Rowley is actually enjoying working with and getting on with Millward very well (and thats from both parties plus players not my words) so tht puts that conspiracy theory to bed.
Robbie Paul rates Millward as one of the best (if not the best) technical coaches he has worked with as will be seen in a recent interview to be released shortly.

If you read right at the bottom of the interview it does say "ideally you choose your own staff " and so on ,now i dont mind Rowley have said so before so i'm not getting at him it was just an interesting read.

It's what is called a leading bit of journalism. The first is a bit nasty which rolls onto the next that is suggestive. Went to college that reporter. Thats why it makes me laugh when people say that the media doesn't sway peoples decisions during elections or to a worse extent someones trial.

I am certainly happy to see IM comments about Tim Hartley, for so long Tim was up there with the best talent in the north west from 13-18, up to him to so that promise or he is off. Has the talent but attitude is what lets him down i hope he can make an impact for leigh.

I think Ball's prediction is a fair one, and personally would take 5th or 6th position now.

We have the same Nucleas as last season, and only finished 7 points behind Barra, the other teams havent much improved themselves either....
