Either some folk are taking residency or they are starting work on the once upon a time cinema complex!! Hmmmmmm

I hope they get charged for parking

Maybe they were just camping out, so they beat the rush for season tickets!

In view of the salary cap problems and advice taken from South Wales I believe its the offices for the new Rugby League Development officers for Leigh, the district of Atherleigh, west Leigh, nearly in Leigh, too far from Leigh and thank fook we arn't in W!&an and are in Leigh.

The RFL's new honesty spokesman R Lewis was quoted as saying "a lovely setup, where did the sports stadium come from, perhaps you should play your home games there"

The RFL commissioner for equality to all clubs N Wood was heard to mutter "I hope one of these vans does a good fry up".

Whilst on my way home tonight about 5ish I passed some of the trailer trash on the Lancs and onto the bypass.........They did a left turn at the Fire station ... obviously their sat nav did n`t get it quite right...........No doubt it `ll be a mess come sat............

Funny you should mention development officer,theres a nice piece in the leigh east grant terms and conditions about that and a sum of 74 k over 3 years .Perhaps one of the village muppets would like to explain ,by the way leigh east knew nothing until recently a very well kept secret why i wonder

So in a nutshell, what you are saying is that the grant recieved on the back of Leigh East included a sum of £74,000 to fund a development officer for 3 years. This was not made known to Leigh East and was pocketed by Wigan Borough Council or someone else but definitely noit Leigh East, and to add insult to injury they want £60,000 in rent a year off you.

Well I hope you mnake sure it gets published in other places than here and you either sue the backsides off them or the Sports Council or whoever it was reclaims the grant due to improper use. Perfsonally I am appalled if the above is true

May have something to do with the work going on around the ground. Bollards being put up all round the ground to stop people ram raiding the shop o wait a minute, ram raiding legends bar for takings o wait a minute. Why they putting these up again

East have no reason to make it up, so I've no doubt it's true that it was part of the grant, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's been pocketed, it may never have been claimed. That doesn't make it right though as East or whoever could have used that money for the purpose it was intended.
