| Very true. I'm almost positive that, had said game took place at Hilton Park, we'd have been looking at at least 3,000 if not nearer 4,000. Going to have to be some hard work done by all parties during the break.

| We've got to do everything imaginable, to get Leigh folk in there next season. Because we can no longer rely on the supporters of Halifax, Widnes, and Whitehaven to boost our crowds. Dismiss any thoughts or notions of SL - we have to sell the competition we are in as we will have even less home games, to earn income, next season.

Leigh RLFC/LSV and imagination dont really go together but a valid point....
There is next to no advertising for any home or away game in Leigh, its seriously needs looking into

I'm sure it's been mentioned before but why is it that Leythers haven't taken to the LSV?
We were lucky in respect to Naughton Park being re-modelled on the same site but your new gaff appears to be more accessible albeit further away from the town proper.
Have the walk up fans deserted?

It's marginally closer to town than HP was (starting from the bus station).
I think that we haven't given people anything interesting to watch until recently. Free coaches and better and more entertainment, have both started to get people more interested. More meaningful games have led to better atmospheres which seems to have led to more people turning up.
And lets not get tearey eyed about Hilton park - look at the facts and realise that not all was rosey in the garden there.

Completely agree, but it's not too long since it was almost the norm to have 3,500+ on - where have those people gone and what can we do to get them back?

| If you could just pay at the turnstile, not asking much is it, rather than queueing for a ticket then having to got to a turnstile...what's all that about???

That can't be the sole reason though, surely?

| I know people have had gripes about that at The Stobart/Halton Stadium in the past but it seems that it's just a cop out for me.
I reckon pay on the turnstyle was to stop any fiddling that goes on - another thing that people used as an excuse not to go to watch Widnes .

| Why dont they do a season ticket that you can pay monthly ,for those that cant pay full amount up front that way the club is guaranteed the money ,maybe more fans would get one then.

953.jpg 2015 - major missed opportunity, 2016 - stronger teams = harder task (no problem there then), 2017 - OMG What now!!!:953.jpg |
|
| You used to be allowed to pay it over three months I think up to the start of the season. One of the plus points of the season ticket is the club got the money up front which helped early in the season.
If you want to pay monthly it doesn't benefit the club as it should and to be honest if you only want to pay monthly, you might as well just pay every week. In the current climate anything could happen and people would be defaulting on monthly payments during the season, in turn making more work and cancelling season tickets would be a nightmare.

Or even for people who may so work abroad or down south half the year!
Then you could pay up for games your here for and not have the cost of the rest of the year / the pain fo getting tickets weekly (Though I agree most use it as a cop out!).
