| Makes it a bit of a farce now that Batley kicked and injury time penalty v Sheffield to secure 1 point.
It should be given in an attempt to win a game 
Still, I am sure we might have done the same, but the more I think of it, the more it should be 2 pts for the win, nothing else!  |

Couldn't agree more, rewarding losers is a farce & typical of the RFL. Teams should be proud enough to fight to the end regardless of the inevitability of the outcome.

| Agreed that this will make the teams play to the very last minute and this has produced some very strange results on the table this year.
I do however hope that the supposed none winable games that we have left this season produce a bonus point for us.

You're right, however we've had more big tonkings that Sheffield, and is reflected in the points for/against.
It's a way of saying 'you're bizz' but 'you're bizzer'.

Hey, you're preaching to the converted mate.
Overall points difference will only ever mean 1 point difference over the whole season. Every Sheffield loss has been close, many of ours have been by a country mile and the lack of bonus points reflects that.
I dunno, there's pros and cons to it, I've no problem with the theory but when things like that happen yesterday, it does make a bit of a mockery of it. |
