| Sorry I don't know anything about him other than he made his début in the 1951/52 season.

| watched him play for Leigh in early fifties. He was not at his peak while with Leigh but nevertheless was a massive signing at the time. Was a tall and rangy second row and very stylish in most things he did. Was a big pal of Trevor Allen and they lived next door to each other on Warrington road near greyhound. Went back to oz and then came back as vice captain on kangeroo tour when he was at his peak, and relished mixing it with GB pack.

I was at the tour game at Hilton Park in 1959 and remember him addressing the crowd over the Public Address system sadly, he didn't play in the match which, Leigh won! how many leythers will ever see Leigh beat Australia again?

| And this one of the 1952 Lancashire Cup winning team - I presume he's on this but I don't know which one he is.
Wasn,t that the match where Brian Fallon dropped the winning goal in the last couple of minutes to give us a 1 point win ?
I remember getting to the ground 2 hours before kick off for that match.
The Aussies won,t play us now when they tour here because they,re frightened of what the score might be.

| Probably one of the best Leigh teams since the war. Some great players in there. Also, no one mentioned Jeff Burke. He was another Aussie who was in lodgings halfway down Hope Street. He had shoulders like a barn door. Could do with reincarnating a few of them now. They had a better work ethic on the park than this lot seem to have. Seen 'em all since the first game at Charles street in 1946
