my mate went to the salford game yesterday helping raise some money for the stuart litlers testomonial and he came back with some great news. After he spoke to robbie paul and some of the salford executives leigh have signed Robbie Paul, Stuart Litler, John Duffy and Ricky Bibey. this is not been confirmed but looks very lilkley that 2 or 3 of them names will be a leyther next season

And there will be another 13 signings at least behind those!!!

What we would want Duffy for i don't know littler Bibey and Paul fair enough

Because Duff is top quality in this league if you get chance watch the Northern Rail Cup semi final and final and you will see what I mean. At a guess I think we will rotate Duff with Robbie at hooker next year with an exciting signing from down under for the no.7 shirt to follow!

I have to agree Duffy is still a very descent player and would be a good signing in my opinion

I'm sure that news gves the current squad a massive incentive for the rest of the season - NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

With the players in the current squad signed up, that leaves the rest with nothing to play for.

I like Duffy don't get me wrong but is there sentiment in there?We have had him 3 times before and has he gone better? He's gone Bigger, i agree that IF he is now a 9 or 13 instead of a 6 or 7 he would be better i just think we should leave him but if Basil wants him who am i to argue

Still unsure on what to make of these signings, especially Duffy. I think Paul, Bibey and Littler would all be great additions to a championship side but where is Basil going to use Duffy?

I seriously hope he isn't being lined up as our halfback, but I'd be quite happy to see how he goes at loose though.
