We’ll hopefully have everyone in their Cherry and White singing, but another thing which brings good atmosphere especially with the kids, is seeing themselves on the screens.

Could Wayne take photos, from one game and show them at the next prior to kick off/ half time? Faces in the crowd type of thing

Send your own photos in Happy Birthday, Bernie’s bungee, etc.

Dunno it has been tentatively spoken about but I need to see their technology and if mine are compatible, theres one thing for sure I cant afford to change mine

Or if the 'chute fails to open Bernie will get her wish and finally be a part of the town (sorry Bernie ) and East's Centurions and all the golfers may get the 'overspray'

In all seriousness, thats a good point GLOW makes.

How good would that be for kids to see their names up on the screens with a picture of themselves on their birthdays etc, they would be well chuffed.

To me next years all about getting people there especially the young ones, hopefully the ticket offers and Starbug’s passion wagon will kick start this, once you’ve got them there give them a good time, make it fun, exciting, vibrant, they’ll go back tell their mates and hopefully it’ll snowball.

there is a problem with getting my 'footage' on the main screens apart from the compatability theres an issue of DVDs im 'obliged' to provide the head coach a dvd straight away after the game, and unfortunately everything else becomes secondary to that, and i also have to have a monitor attached to the dvd recorder in order i can finanlise the finished copy, the only solition i have is a powered multi moutput device which unfortunately my dvd recorders think is inputting a 'scrambled' or 'encoded' signal and therefore refuse to copy.
As from next year I will also have to attach a computer to the cameras for purposes of recording, tagging and statistical analysis, so you see it is a bit more technical than just recording your holiday videos

I will have to liase with the relevant people at the lsv when its up and running and see what can be sorted until then its all 'up in the air' sorry but i will try.

I remember the 'crowd cam' being a big success at Manchester Storm.

Always a laugh to see people revert to type, even in middle age, and flick the V's at unsuspecting cameramen

Like others I can see a lot of people paying their first visit to LSV, but getting them back will be a problem, which for me will not be just down to what happens on the field.

A little scenario for you.

Leigh do a great job and give little Zoe a free season ticket, she’s only 8 and wants to go, Milly her friend from school went last week. So her Dad takes her, they get there early and sit in the family stand, next to Milly, and her Mum and Dad. There’s photos from the last game being shown on the screen of fans all dressed in Cherry and White pulling funny faces, singing etc.

Her Dad says “Oh look your Uncle Glow and Cousins”, Arty pays them a visit in the stand and passes a few sweets around, then he goes and Dances with the dancers on the pitch, he’s funny he can’t do it.

Then there’s a sudden shout and people are stood up waving, you can see them on the screen, “Oh look Dad its us!”

Same thing happens at Half time but they show a photo of Milly because it’s her Birthday, they play Happy Birthday and the people all around Milly join her Mum and Dad singing Happy Birthday to her.

Little Zoe goes home, “Mum it was great we were on the Telly, there were people pulling funny faces, they showed Milly and sang Happy Birthday, can they show me on my Birthday?”

Mum says “Sounds like she enjoyed herself!”
Dad says “Yeah she had a great time, singing and shouting, she wants a shirt now, they all go in Shirts or dressed in Red, it was good you’ll have to come with us next time”

Mum says to Zoe “And did Leigh win?”
Zoe “Dad did we win?”

I understand the concept mate and i for one will be trying to do my 'bit' however the technics at the lsv will be operated by their staff and not mine (that souns a bit outlandish my staff ) or the Centurions, its a wait and see at the moment but I do get your 'drift', the Stadium security/safety officer have already held prelim 'talks 9hey Dave that sounds posh dunnit ) and his thinking isnt a million miles from yours or mine on the subject.
