Just as I was looking forward to a return to regular Sunday marches next season, the club has announced the first match at the LSV is on SATURDAY 29 Jan. Anyone know why?

The week after we will be away at Fev on Monday night 7th Feb. It will be shown on Premier Sports.

Midweek games, there goes a lot of season tickets

Doubtful that I will renew this year, and as fate would have it, me and her indoors have booked a cruise to celebrate a very big wedding anniversary - yellow coloured metal - from the 3rd to 13th June which coincides with for me the best 2 home fixtures on consecutive Sundays being Fev and Fax, why couldnt it have been two away games or failing that unattractive home fixtures☹

If I read it right, Halifax and Batley away are both on Mondays?

Two of my favourite places to go and, well I can't, well not if I support Leigh.

I postulate that is a lot of money lost for those two clubs too.

I had a Season Ticket last season knowing I would lose out financially, I won't be having one this year, not with Monday night games, no Head Coach, no Assistant Coaches & only about 12 to 14 player's signed & very little positive communication from the club !!!

Leigh Centurions should be flooding their loyal supporters with anything and everything that will give them a positve attitude and sense of involvement with the club, but instead with the lack of as you say 'positve communication' they are just creating and stoking a sense and feeling of apathy, that is the way I am feeling and I know with talking to other fans that I am not alone in that.
Can you imagine how fans of clubs like Halifax, Newcastle, York and Fev are feeling and looking forward to the new season with how their clubs are taking on the challenge of next season, it must be great being a fan of one of those. I have been a Leigh fan for 50+ years but where we are as a club at the moment I feel that I may not be for very much longer unless that lack of news, intention and positivity changes very quickly.
I have always been very appreciative of what Mr Beaumont has done for the club, love him or loath him he has always kept the speccies informed, he has gone on record as saying he will do what is nessacary to ensure Leigh Centurions are in SL in 2023, not with the way things are going at the moment we won't, we'll be a low middle Championship club, with Fev York, Newcastle and Fax in 4 of the first 6 games that could set the tone for the season and I don't mean in a positive sense.

No news is good news in my book!

why it was in may now at end of july when holidays start and not at blackpool crazy

Possibly something to do with the World Cup. Not sure it is May. Thought is was end of June.
