The article closed with the comment that there would not be much movement at Widnes in the close season. Armstrong IMO has played his best rugby in the last few weeks - lets hope it continues into the M8's and this type of media stunt from Shaw does not distract him.

Tom carries the qualifications to continue his career after RL,unfortunately it looks like we are left with someone reporting who thinks he's more educated than him.

Well at least 1 of our players are being linked with a SL club and therefore showing ambition, rather than moving down the league structure and showing little or no smbition, i hope tom stays.

Tom has developed a problem of moving in on the angle and leaving a two man overlap. If the rest of the defence doesn't slide across its taters. Not a massive problem to correct. He needs to have confidence in his team mates that they will slide across covering the inside pass. A little more concentration in our own 10mtrs is needed now.

Our glaring weakness when defending our line is the way we push up slowly and don't slide, first 2 try's of theirs on Sunday was de to being caught out with numbers and burns was at fault! Armstrong was absolutely screaming for cover and nobody came over. I know a lot of people don't like it but I do like the way we don't rush up in the defensive line, it's defiantly something jukes as worked on we move up slower but Everyone does slide and there is always cover on the inside shoulder! I'd just like to see us on our line go more 1 on 1 and really press up the line. Cory did it twice on Sunday fly out as a line and pressure if they have speed of hands put it across the line and score fair play but not many teams will be capable!

I'd like to see the stats on missed tackles oggy for the Bradford match.I saw 3 men in on tackles on the line on 2 occasions and all missed.As you say you can't afford to do that,as the numbers work against you.
