Well an opportunity has come about for just that to happen!!!!!

For the 2014 season Leigh Centurions will once more be partnering up with Super League kit makers O’neills,but this year, together with a new design, there will be a unique chance for a limited number of fans to have their names fully sublimated into the design of the kit.

Not just “on the kit” but IN the kit.

Your name along with other Centurion fans will be printed into the design of the kit. Every playing shirt worn by the squad and every replica kit bought by a fan will proudly carry your name in it

2014 will be a defining season for Leigh Centurions, as we aim to maximise the opportunities created by the restructure of the leagues and the clear SL pathway that will be created.

Critical to our success will be YOU, our fans, and we feel that in the battles ahead we want you there with us every inch of the way, leading literally from the front - your name proudly emblazoned within our shirt and your passion driving us to our goals

We will be launching this opportunity in the next few days so keep an eye open for the launch via the normal channels as this opportunity will be limited

As someone who was a member of the defunct 'PSG', it really does feel great to have a group of people involved now, who have the energy to pursue potential money-earning initiatives, that also include the fans/community.

Was gutted the flight was delayed for the family yesterday causing me to arrive too late but I understand they were well used

Great idea, I saw it on the Swinton shirts and mentioned that it would be something that we could do. They charged something like £75 for your name to be put in the shirt.

We are looking at circa £25 for inclusion in home and away kits, with some right techy stuff I don't understand possibly being on the shirt as well

Is this what Whitehaven have done as well? At first I thought a fan had his shirt signed by players but then I noticed their playing kit yesterday had a load of signatures on it?

I don't think the names will be actual "signatures" but more block capitals printed in the shirt with your name repeated through the patern.
Hopefully the names won't be repeated too often, which would mean plenty fans will have gone along this great idea. Can't wait

this sort of thing is becoming more mainstream as people get used to crowd funding type activities (think your name on an album sleeve or whatever).

Im sensing a step change in club / fan interactions next season (not that it has been bad this one).
