Yes there is it starts at the Centurion pub about 7-45pm.



Entry is £11 and £1 of that goes to LISA as a donation and the rest goes into a prize fund.

It is a great evening and I am sure you will enjoy it.


You can also buy back in for £10 if you lose all your chips before halfway time.

Norris Cole is making a special apperance, hes hoping to win some money, to pay for some more hanging baskets, hes easy to beat though as he has to get the bus back to Salford so he gets more eratic(sp) as the evening goes. Hes bringing Mad Mary with him too, so come down and meet him folks.

The Three Musketeers, me Frank and Ian split the pot as it was getting very late. Franks had masses of chips coming onto the final table I had the least amount after a few rounds of that fianl table, but came back from the brink to have a big pile of chips too.

Again last nights Poker was another successful night , thanks to everyone who attended , we had about 18 entries and raised £69.00p for LISA , it was nice to see 2 new faces in Leyther Daz , and his mate Graham,hope they both had a good night , also nice to see Zoe , hope she enters next week .

The winners on the night were Dick Jones ,the Salfordlad , and myself , its the first time we 3 have been in the money together ,hopefully not the last , the cream rose to the top ,Frank was by far chip leader at one stage , but we pegged him back .

Again a BIG thank you to all who attended and played , i would still love to see more come along although we must have been without about 7 or 8 regulars last night so all in all it was a good night ,if you can come along though one Tuesday night please do , many thanks , Charlie .

Yes thanks to all of you for a good night at the poker was good to put a few faces to the names on here. Don't tell Graham but I actually let him beat me to try and get him hooked so he comes again,HONESTLY I did
