I am hoping to buy or get bought a season ticket again for the next season
But before i do, the club need to make an announcement

not all that long ago
the club asked, as to which day, the fans would like the games to be played on
but I have never, as far as i know, heard anything else about it

i am bringing this up as i work shifts, so if it was decided that Leigh Centurions was to play on a friday for instance, and i was working 2-10, then i couldnt go to the game, so it would be pointless buying a S/Ticket

no doubt others are in the same position as myself

Thats true too..... as they were looking at other options, so I wouldnt be surprised if some games were played on another day/time

If they play Friday then I will be missing them all. We need to know before we purchase.

i know that i would prefer the 3pm sunday kick offs

3pm Sundays for me....... friday night K/O will mean even less away supporters and Sat will scare them off as prob want to go out and get slaughtered at their local....... simple.

I am in the same position. Will buy a season ticket if the club confirm Sunday home games. If not, then I wont be buying and will just pay for the games I can make (which wouldn't be many on a Friday evening).

I bought a season ticket when we was in super dooper league thinking we might play the odd friday game on sky, but we played probably half our home games on friday which were a struggle to attend. I dont recall the club announcing Friday games then before season tickets went on sale.

The sky home games that season were on a saturday

I personally prefer Sunday 3PM kick off.

Also, Sunday games give the extra couple of weekdays to put a programme together - if we do one.

going a bit random, and off topic here, but did anyone else see " shandy bass" out on the town tonight entertaining VERY attractive female company???

To be fair even if we say our home games are Sundays at 3pm I doubt we will get a say in the matter if SKY decide to switch to a thursday. They hold way too much sway in sports for me, if Man Utd and Chelseas kick offs are chopped and changed about to the annoyance of season ticket holders, there's no way any RL club could stand firm against them.

because we'll play so many times on thursday'secause of sky]for me friday evenings would be a better time to play.it would be much less disruptive for the players over the season.
when we play fax,fev or widnes and we're not on sky then play them games on sunday's at 3pm to maximise the away support.

I agree we need to decide our day and time for games, what i'm saying is we don't really have a say in when games are rescheduled for TV.
