Just a reminder tolet you all know tomorrows Poker night is in Legends Bar at 7.30pm Tuesday,after yesterdays great game and result,i hope to see a good turnout,i spoke with Basil on Saturday at the reserves game,and he said the players are keen to attend,i havealso been told that if enough people start coming then some sort of food would be laid on,socome along and support the Club as well as win a few quid.

I would love to give it a go, but after our wedding, Dawns sons passing out parade in exeter and his wedding this weekend, we will be spending the next two months paying for it. Hopefully it will be a growing success and still be running when we are finally solvent again. See you all on Sunday.

Attended this event last night, it was an enjoyable evening, but where are all those who said they wanted to play poker?
We need more people to attend, as it was really good and could be a good money spinner for LISA.

Thanks for coming last night Linda,it was good to see a couple of new faces,ive hada fair bit of positive feedback,and a couple of the lads saidthey would bring their mates, i feel this could and WILL be a success,once the word gets around,you have seen for yourself the potential.

By the way Linda did very well last night,she wasnt in the money placings,but lasted longer than Frank B,who was out first,and myself,my cards were terrible,thats my excuse anyway.
Come along and try it you dont have to be a card shark,you will be made very welcome and do something for our club,i reckon in 12 months the money raised would be like around 50 new LISA members joining,so if you can pleasecome and check it out,thanks Ian.

why don't you create a facebook page that people can 'like' - another way of advertising if everyone asks their friends to 'like' it too?

im hopeless with computers,cant you tell?Iwouldnt know how to create a Facebook page, but im working on the ad in the Programme,come along and see how it goes,or help in any other way.

Made it an event on facebook and invited all my freinds on there.

I've done the page charlie, hopefully it's all worked.

Hopefully theres mention of it in the Journal this week too.
