Would you have opened it if it said 'Crocked Leyther wants a job in Merseyside'?
Always had a soft spot for the lad for some reason, probably because he was one of the first players that i can actually remember seeing play!!
Think it was the year we were rooted to bottom of the League, probably Millwards first year, he scored a few bobby dazzlers!!

yes, but it would of been more accurate, anyway i for one hope saints give him the top job, just because you where born overseas does not give you the qualifications to coach, so good luck kp, hope you get it.

Millward came the following year mate, Keith Latham was coach when we came bottom of the league, I think? Whatever happened to him? |

Nice guy is Keiron but is he ready for a top job? he appears to be a little short of a media persona as of yet, I think he needs to 'sharpen his teeth' on a Championship club first. I remember him awaiting an operation on his shoulder and he traveled to Whitehaven with the reserves to watch, they were short of bodies so knowing his shoulder cohuldnt get much worse he played at half back and scored six tries. Its a pity the injuries he picked up finished his career early IMO he would have been a Leigh legend.

Remember him carrying up and fixing the new TS seats (yes new and individually packed) I watched him sweat his wotsits off with a couple of other players and asked him how much extra he was getting paid. He just laughed and said "Same as usual, nowt, be lucky to get a thanks!"
