There's been a lot of negative posts recently. Let's not lose sight of where the club is at:

1. 24 wins on the bounce;

2. We play Wakefield in the cup on Sunday live on bbc. Plus if we play to our potential we have a chance of winning and taking another super league scalp after Salford;

3. There was well over 3k in attendance last weekend. Nearly 3500 leythers;

4. The club are continuing to look to strengthen by trying to sign higham;

5. Fingers crossed we'll be seeing a quality end of season run in. We've still got Sheffield at home and fev. Plus the middle 8s to look forward to. In the 8s we'll our players pout their bodies on the line against some quality full time opposition;

6. It's all to play for - we have a chance of super league.

Each to their own but please lets concentrate on the positives. Keep supporting the club and spreading the word. We could have some fantastic crowds and finish the season with an unbelievable crowd average that will enable us to push on next year.

Forget the rumours and the small negatives and look at the positives. This is a massive year and we all need to play our part - support the lads and club and enjoy the ride.

Excellent post. I also think that, despite the obvious negatives, there were a number of positives to take from Sunday's game. As a team we defended really well: apart from one break from a scrum inside their own twenty I can't recall Halifax breaking our line at all, even when they were fired up with a man advantage. Their tries came from a Leigh gift, a lucky kick ricochet and a piece of brute strength. A number of players also had excellent games ( a particular pat on the back to Dixon and Reynolds). Fui, coming back from a lengthy lay off, played serious minutes and was a massive impact throughout. The bounce of the ball constantly seemed to go Fax's way (until Goulden's try that is). Oh, and let's give the coach a pat on the back for having the guts to give Reynolds his debut in such a tight, physical game. OK so the attack had a bit of an off day but Halifax came to defend and play risk free, field position rugby. All in all a game that could have been lost and, in previous years, might well have been.

There are far more positives than negatives, I for one have posted my own semi negative thoughts about the Twitter incident & discipline, but as is well pointed out, it is time to focus on the good stuff.

Well I have my ticket' although you are right of course cos there are two ways of looking at it' when as Charlie says you look at it from both angles.

Course he wouldn't know as in this situation there could be more than that.

Frank you of all people should know a positive to some is a negative to others, if you have a Full House in Poker it's a positive to you , but a negative to me ,unless I have 4 of a kind .

How are you lot feeling about Sunday then? A lot of people I speak to are making you favourites, which is unusual, to say the least, for a Championship club against a SL club. But probably deserved.

I only saw you when you played us (Leeds) last season, but you were terrific that day, and probably a bit unlucky not to get something out of it. I've had the chance to watch you this season, and you look like a SL team, not a Championship team. I can't see any way you won't get promoted, and the club seems to be building towards a sustainable set up to let you stay up once you're up.

What I especially like is that, as well as some really skilful players, you've got a right nasty, mongrelly forward pack that seems to really get under opposition's skins. Personally, I like to see that, and it will help when you play the SL clubs - it certainly ruffled some feathers at Leeds last year.

Good luck for Sunday, I feel sorry for Wakey at the moment, but I hope the Leigh adventure continues!

One big positive for me over last couple of weeks is Worthington starting to find form, along with Pownall's form since coming into the team. If those two can build a partnership, we'll have an even more formidable backline, as there'll be less emphasis on the left side.

Thanks pal, a great post and it certainly is how we play. We have a squad that is capable to play in any conditions against opposition under any tactics. However i hope we have dry land on Sunday so we can show the RL world what we are all about.
