Chatting to Ryans agent yesterday at Donny. He said Ryan is in talks with Derek re new contract, but his agent had advised him not to extend past his current deal. Personally I think its time Leigh gave Ben Reynolds a run out, to see if has got what it takes. If not get shut and bring someone in like thackery. Looks like Ryan has had his head turned by someone........Again

As for having his head turned 'again', despite the numerous rumours and SL clubs circling and trying to unsettle him, Kes has never let it effect his performances and has continued to deliver week after week and gives 100% on and off the pitch.

He is a Leigh player, and he is playing very well and there is nothing to indicate he isn't happy here, quite the opposite in fact. Of course his agent wants the best deal for Ryan, that is his job. But unless he leaves or his performances drop off then why would we drop the hottest prospect outside of SL?

like I said the other week, Ryan has agreed a deal with Leeds for next season, on the provision that Leigh DONT get promoted. If Leigh do get promoted he will still be a Leigh player. This clause was put in by Derek. However, Leeds have until 18th September 2015 to pull out of the deal, if Ryan doesn't perform to expectations, or if Leeds sign another player.

Ryan has the same agent as Danny McGuire, Zak Hardaker.

A statement should have been released today regarding Brierley rejecting a new contract today, but hasn't been. Derek given his word to the family that it would be released today.
