| Not sure about a win today Dews have given us two very tough games this season already and Thackery has been outstanding this season ! I heard we offered him a contract but he didn't want to come over due to an impending new family arrival? Hope Ryan runs the ball more today and takes the game to them more? We have the best player in this division in Ridyard let's hope they can dictate this game and our fantastic pack are able to compliment them !!
Our biggest worry today is ref Matt Thomason he was appalling against Donny and he needs to watch the opposing offsides more instead of lecturing Leigh players all the time ! Come On Matt raise your game!

Thought Dewsbury were very good in the 2nd half, but by the same token we played some dumb rugby - we scored some great off the cuff tries but seemed to think we could do it every time this afternoon. There was a spell today when it should have been 'up the jumper time' and we didn't have the control to do it.
All entertaining stuff though - Took the grandkid today and he enjoys it more than going watching the pies (they always lose when he goes ).

Better that he sticks to watching them Col!

| Anthony Thackery was a name mentioned to me on more than one occasion today. I thought he was their best player and had a big hand in everything that came off for Dewsbury. It was a sublime kick that resulted in their final try.
From our perspective, We controlled the game today against a good outfit and I never thought the result was in danger. I also thought Beswick was outstanding and he especially is in a rich vein of form currently.
Bring on next week!

It was a beautiful kick from Thackery - although the scorer appeared to be in front of him when it was kicked.
As for Beswick, I can't understand why he never seems to get the MOM - he certainly changed the course of the Doncaster game a couple of weeks ago.

| I agree Alan.
Re the ref I didn't think he was that bad but folk around me were constantly screaming Dewsbuy were offside.I thought they moved up every play the ball like their lives depended on it.
Dewsbury gave it their best shot but Leigh can play a lot better than they did today.
Leigh 38 Fev 12 next week ?
I hear the £40k prize money will go to our lads and shared out on an appearance basis.
Think Liam Kay and Ryan Brierley will both score next week too.
Well done our lads.

From our privileged view, 'side-on' in the West Stand, I can reveal that Dewsbury were no more offside than we were. I thought the ref, seemed 'more balanced' than he was when we played Doncaster. What's the betting we get him next Sunday too?!

| Think Dewsbury came out 2nd half and played some very good knock out Rugby, they'd nothing to loose and chanced their arm which nearly paid off. Think we were always going to be too much for them though and other than that spell after half time had it under control.

| I think our lads thought they'd already won at half time, and Dewsbury came oyut in teh second half playing like tehir lives depended on it. THere was a point in the second half where if Dewsbury had got to within 5 points of us, they may have won, but the resul never really looked in doubt. We'll need to to tighten our discipline for next week though, we gave away far too many penalties.

| We were our own worst enemy, we were in full control and let them back in the game by poor discipline and poor tackling, tighten up on those and we’ll win on Sunday, if we don’t then Fev will win as they are better than the Rams.

| When The Rams started to play Rugby in the second half and thought "sod it" they threw the ball around like a hot potato and looked really dangerous. I was worried for a while

Same with our grandkids Col - they're gutted.
So much for getting the kids watching - this presumably SKY-dictated kick off time will have undone a lot of our (and probably Fev's) good work with the juniors.
